Environmental Protection In the Caribbean

Environmental Protection In the Caribbean (EPIC) has announced a benefit entertainment event to be held November 9. This unique event features two performers. The first is Robert Channing, the world foremost mind reader, whom audiences have described as "truly amazing" "phenomenal" and "inspiring."The second act is the contemporary singer/songwriter Susan Werner, who
The Chicago Tribune describes as "a triply blessed artist who sings adroitly, plays the piano smartly and, best of all, writes songs of genuine distinction and high craft."

This event is made possible through the sponsorship of US based Hakins Meetings and Incentives. Hakins hosts a travel group, known as Awosting Outbound Experiences, which travels to a different location each year with the motto "For our Fun, and To the Benefit of Charity." Thus far, the Awosting travel group has conducted eight trips and raised over $8,500 for charity. Once the hard work of determining the location and entertainment was organized, Hakins worked in cooperation with Island92 FM and identified EPIC as the target charity for their visit to St. Maarten. The company has generously offered all proceeds of tickets sales to fund EPICâ??s valuable conservation work on the island, including the Love the Lagoon Project.

Everybody is encouraged to attend this remarkable evening of entertainment. The show starts at 8pm on Sunday, November 9 in the grand ballroom of The Westin Dawn Beach Resort. Tickets are just $20 and can be purchased at Budget Marine in Cole Bay, Caribbean International Academy, Island Food Wholesale, St. Maarten Montessori School, Tri-Sport, and 5F Kitchens and More.
